Nicky is a troubled young man with a complicated relationship with his mother. He has heard rumors about her promiscuity with younger men before, but has always brushed them aside. After witnessing her make a scene with her latest lover, he now realizes that the rumors were all true and she has consistently chased adoration and sexual vanity throughout his life.
