KIPPY: So, uh, Shane? (Shane looks up, some of the other guys do, too. You get the sense that maybe this is the first time anyone’s spoken to him. He says nothing.) Now you say hello. (Beat.)
SHANE: Hey.
KIPPY: Darren here and I--we’ve been wondering something.

KIPPY: Was that a lie, Shane? Was that whole story something you made up?
SHANE: (Surprised.) No.
DARREN: Then what are you laughing for?
SHANE: … Whut’s not funny? (He looks at them contemptuously, walks off.)
