"Move On"
George--the great-grandson of the artist Georges Seurat--is in the Parisian park of the famous painting. He has tried to honor and create art in the image of Seurat, but feels as though he is stuck, that he has failed. As he reflects on the park--and how it has changed since Seurat’s painting--a vision of Dot, his great-grandmother, appears. She recognizes him as the George from her own time, and begins to inspire him to find his own art, rather than imitating the past.

Lead-in:
Dot: I thought the world could be perfect. I was wrong.
George: What else?
Dot: Oh, enough about me. What about you? Are you working on something new?
George: No, I am not working on anything new.
Dot: That is not like you, George.
---[Move On]---
Dot: You never cared what anyone thought. That upset me at the time because I wanted you to care what I thought.
George: I’m sure that I did.
Dot: I am sure that you did, too.
