Context
John and Buzz are both guests at the upstate country home of Gregory Mitchell. Buzz has just arrived and finds John taking a sneaky look inside Gregory’s private journal. Way back in the past, John and Buzz used to be lovers but they have both moved on since then. Now Buzz is single and John has a new, younger boyfriend whom he has brought with him. JOHN: Did you know Gregory only has three places he feels safe? His work, in Bobby’s arms, and in his journal.
BUZZ: That’s disgusting.
RAMON: What is? The weather? Or the startling inoriginality of naming your house Mandeley, after a kitsch-classic movie?
