Context
It is the Bride’s wedding day and she has run away with her true love, Leonardo. They are passionately tied to each other and he has convinced her to go far away with him so that they can be together. They have left behind the Bride’s Bridegroom, and Leonardo’s Wife and son. The Bride is having second thoughts and wants Leonardo to turn back. They decide that they must be together and will stay together no matter what happens. The only thing that can separate them is death.

Start: Leonardo: Quiet!
Bride: I’ll go on from here. Alone. Go! I want you to turn back!
Leonardo: I said quiet!
