Context
Beth, a young woman from Kansas, was taken to the strange Land of Oz by a tornado. She encounters Glinda, a friendly witch with a dark side. The play is a parody of the movie The Wizard of Oz, about a young farm girl from Kansas who gets dropped into Oz by a tornado and meets (among others) the kind-hearted witch Glinda. In this version, Beth is reluctant about the comparison to her counterpart in the movie.
