Context
Beth is a young woman from Kansas who was transported to the Land of Oz by a tornado. Having just lost her sister in a car wreck, she’s decided to use the opportunity to go see the powerful Wizard for help. Along the way, she’s encountered a lion, who is deathly afraid of almost everything. The characters are parodies of their counterparts in the movie The Wizard of Oz, about a farm girl from Kansas who is whisked away to Oz by a tornado and meets a cowardly lion on her way to see the Wizard.
