Masterman: Real or not, we know the Luftwaffe has been sent to bomb convoys that didn’t exist.

Sarah: The Nazis are calling him their “Vertrauensmann” ...the confidence man.

Harris: Or the con man. Does he want to make us think that he is incompetent, so we ignore him, treat him lightly until-

Torre: - until purely by accident, Juan’s fake sub-agent William Gerbers reported that-

Gerbers: -a convoy of ships are leaving Liverpool for Malta.

Torre: Another completely made-up story by Juan to distract the Germans. But a convoy of ships really was leaving for Malta. When you make up enough lies, there is a risk of telling the truth. MI5 panics!

Juan: Ships leaving for Malta!

Harris: (On the phone.) Ships leaving for Malta?

Federico: Sending U-boats to attack convoy.

Harris: U-boats- holy
