Context
Agnes is a high school teacher. Her sister, Tilly, died in a car crash and Agnes has been playing her Dungeons and Dragons module to try to get to know her better. Agnes was shocked to discover that Tilly’s character in the game had a girlfriend, Lilith. This hurt Agnes because Tilly never even told her she was gay. Agnes has come to her best friend Vera’s office, where Lilith is sitting at her desk. This is the first time Agnes has seen Lilith outside the Dungeons and Dragons game.
