Context
Ray is a star swimmer on the eve of the Olympic qualifying trials. If he qualifies for the Olympics, he will get a lucrative sponsorship with Speedo. Ray’s performance-enhancing drugs were found in a refrigerator at his training club, and Ray falsely implicated another swimmer. Under pressure and convinced he needs the drugs to succeed, Ray turns to Lydia, his ex-girlfriend and former physical therapist. Ray: I just
Lydia: I’m standing here trying to figure it out—something you’re not saying.
Ray: I missed you.
