Context
Eddie has shown up to May’s motel room intent on taking her back with him. May is adamant that she has no desire to be with him and that he will just continue the cycle of enticing her with a fantasy and then leaving her. She also reminds him of his affair with a model known only as the Countess and insists that she has a job and a new life.

Start: Eddie: May, look. May? I’m not goin’ anywhere. See? I’m right here. I’m not gone. I don’t know why you won’t just look at me. You know it’s me. Who else do you think it is.
End: Eddie: Then I’ll just leave I guess.
May: Wait. (They stand facing each other for a while. They embrace. They are very soft with each other. She suddenly knees him in the groin with tremendous force) You can take it, right? You’re a stuntman.
