Context
Famous TV actress Myra Marlowe has retreated to the small town of Beaver Haven, Vermont, in order to live a quiet, anonymous life, and work on her autobiography. Her first hint that she may not find peace and quiet is a visit from her new neighbors, Reba Harper and Cora Gump, the “Hospitality Ladies.” In this scene, these nosy women descend upon Myra with a welcome basket, and a comedic, rapid-fire recitation of local gossip, neighborly warnings, and curious questions. Cora: But we heard voices.
Myra. Oh. Oh, I was practicing my Spanish lesson. Buenos dias.

Reba: Let him in and you’ll never get rid of him.
