Context
Willy Loman is a travelling salesman in his sixties. Unexpectedly, he has returned home shortly after setting out on a sales trip. His wife, Linda, is worried that he has crashed the car or done something stupid. He is fatigued and clearly struggling mentally but she refuses to accept this. Instead, she focuses on his pent up anger and frustration and buoys him along, just wanting him to sort himself out.
