Context
B is a nine-year-old Nebraska girl obsessed with flying. The day before, her hero Amelia Earhart (known as A) suddenly appeared in her backyard treehouse, birdlike and confused. Slowly, A is becoming more like a person, and B is determined to help her remember who she really is. B questions A on what she remembers, and together they retell the story of Amelia Earhart’s life.
