Synopsis
What do you get for the boy who gave up everything?
Students, Jackson and Jessica, are heading to Jessica's family home for the Christmas holidays. On board the crowded Amtrak train, Jessica reveals to Jackson that she actually does not want him to come with her. Instead, she wants him to go to see his estranged parents and reconcile with them. She is fed up with being his only emotional support and the strain it puts on their relationship. Jackson is annoyed by the turn of events and, eventually, he gets off the train but will he seek out his parents or return to college?
This is a ten minute play.
