Chee-Chee

Li-Pi Tchou, the Grand Eunuch's son, and his wife Chee-Chee flee from Peking because Li-Pi has no desire becoming a eunuch himself “ a requirement in his line of work. On their journey they are set upon by the tartars, monks, and brigands. Chee-Chee is kidnapped but Li-Pi Tchou rescues her. When the Great Eunuch catches up with his son and orders him to prepare for the great office Chee-Chee and her friend Li-Li Wee arrange for a friend to first kidnap and then substitute Li-Pi for the local surgeon.
