Overview
Synopsis
Take a humorously dark folk tale and a high-energy Klezmer folk concert and what do you get? Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story. Inspired by the immigration story of playwright Hannah Moscovitch’s great-grandparents, Old Stock is a story about finding love after surviving the horrors of war. It celebrates the stories of those who got out before it was too late and those who weren’t so lucky. This 90-minute piece of Epic Theatre features a small cast of three, making it a great choice for small theatre spaces and strong actor-musicians.
