Overview

Synopsis

Casey is a struggling Elvis impersonator, whose only talent is performing on stage. When his act is stripped from him due to dwindling sales at the club in which he works. Casey must find a new career….and fast. His wife, Jo, is pregnant and the couple are unable to pay the rent money or any bills. But then Casey meets Miss Tracy Mills, an elegant and experienced drag queen who handles every situation like a pro. Under Tracy’s tough but tender care, Casey blossoms and transforms into Georgia McBride, the most exciting drag queen Florida has ever seen. With the money rolling in, Casey’s life is finally looking up, if only he could tell Jo the truth about his new career. Matthew Lopez’s fierce and fabulous, genderbending comedy celebrates divas, differences, and rock’n’roll!
