Overview

Synopsis

Bille, Judy, and Rhonda are friends and successful women living in New York City. However, one night, over dinner together, they realize they might not be as “successful” as they outwardly appear. Billie’s marriage, though fine on the surface, is actually stuck in a rut, Rhonda is hung up on an old boyfriend who left her, and Judy can’t get a date with a straight man. The women part ways, and as the week continues, their situations change, due in large part to their friendships with one another. Because of Rhonda’s advice to “let go”, Billie is punched by her husband; this, ironically enough, makes her rather happy. Billie, in turn, sets Judy up with her ex-boyfriend Duke, who promptly sleeps with her. And, finally, as Judy and Billie try to help Rhonda, they all begin to understand the power that comes with being yourself.
