Overview
Synopsis
Port Authority is a play that explores the lives of the lonely and unsure through three intersecting stories. These stories are narrated by three generations of Irishmen, who are the leads in their own stories. These men are Kevin, a young underachiever in love with his roommate; Dermot, a middle aged man who is launching into a job he is unqualified for; and Joe, an older widower who looks back on a period of great passion in his life. Port Authority is a simple, yet affecting play that falls back on the tradition of storytelling to examine ordinary lives in an affecting manner.
