The original production had “Hail to the King” (as the show ended with Ash in medieval times) in place of “We Will Never Die” and “Blew That Bitch Away.” In 2006, the script was changed to bring Ash back to the present day.

Evil Dead: The Musical is also available for high school licensing and eliminates profanity from both the song titles and lyrics: “What the Heck Was That” and “Blew That Witch Away.”
