Plot

ACT ONE

In the village of Transylvania Heights, the townspeople celebrate the death of the mad scientist, Dr. Victor von Frankenstein. They remember the terror they lived under while Dr. Frankenstein went about his horrific experiments, his creatures terrorizing the countryside. The town is ready to herald in a bright, monster-less future, but Inspector Kemp warns them all that the danger has not yet passed. Kemp has a fake arm and leg, relics of past fights against Dr. Frankenstein’s creations. Inspector Kemp tells the villagers that the doctor has a grandson: Frederick Frankenstein, a professor and the Dean of Anatomy at the Johns, Miriam, and Anthony Hopkins School of Medicine in New York City. Ziggy, the village idiot, reasons that a New York doctor will never visit Transylvania, and the celebration
