Synopsis
Sunny is a love story focusing on three couples. Sunny is trying to escape a forced marriage with Mr. Wendell-Wendell and stows away on a ship heading to New York. On the ship, Tom is traveling with his fiancée Marcia. Realizing that she will be refused entry into America, Sunny convinces Tom’s friend, Jim, to marry her (with the understanding that they will divorce once she receives her entry permit). Eventually, Sunny and Jim fall in love for real. Meanwhile, Jim’s girlfriend Weenie and Mr. Wendell-Wendell also fall love.
