Plot

In the home of the Pinkerton family, Pinkalicious is in the kitchen, eyeing a batch of pink cupcakes. She is an energetic little girl who adores the color pink (“Prologue”). Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pinkerton are very busy with work and often don’t have time for fun. Her brother, Peter, is more reserved than his sister, but wishes he could express himself as freely as Pinkalicious. Pinkalicious wants to have fun and eat the freshly baked pink cupcakes. Her mother insists that they have no time for fun and urges Pinkalicious to finish her chores. Pinkalicious gleefully reveals to Peter that she added a whole bottle of pink food coloring to the cupcake batter when Mrs. Pinkerton wasn’t looking. Peter doesn’t like cupcakes and challenges Pinkalicious to eat as many as she can. When Pinkalicious accepts the challenge, Peter realizes it is a mistake and tries to stop his sister, which causes a food fight.
