
Overview
Synopsis
The show revolves around Budgie Bird, a small-time thief and con-man currently employed as a barker for a Soho strip club. Budgie's life changes when Maurice Kahn, a violent criminal on the run, asks him to hide his suitcase full of cash. Budgie proceeds to gamble most of the money away. Soon, Kahn escapes from the authorities and comes back to hunt for Budgie. Meanwhile, Budgie's loyal girlfriend, Hazel, has serious doubts about their relationship.
