Elf JR

The show begins with Santa and his elves singing a carol as they prepare for the Christmas season (“Happy All the Time”). Buddy bounds in, excited as usual, and bringing chaos along with him. It is obvious that Buddy is not like the other elves…he’s giant! Buddy loves his job and is always excited to get to work, even if he is not the best at it. Charlie, the shop manager, makes a very important announcement to all of the elves that this will be a very important Christmas. He reminds them that now even fewer humans believe in Santa than ever before and that Santa’s sleigh won't be able to fly without Christmas spirit. It is left up to the elves to work twice as hard to ensure that there is enough Christmas cheer to allow Santa to make his deliveries! Charlie goes to check on the elves' progress and, as usual, Buddy is behind schedule. Buddy feels terrible and Charlie tells him to go take a break. While on his break Buddy overhears Charlie tell another elf that Buddy is not an elf,
