Overview

Synopsis

Dougal, a naive and impossibly upbeat Brit, has flown to New York City to attend his Dad’s second wedding – a Dad that he’s never met before. Dougal is greeted at the airport by Robin, the sister of the bride. A native New Yorker with a busy work schedule and no time to stop for sight-seeing, Robin and Dougal don’t exactly have instant chemistry. But New York in December can be a magical time. . . with an extravagant wedding and the whole city at their doorstep, anything could happen. Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) is a love letter to New York City. This two-hander Christmas rom-com is a charming, heartfelt, and surprising new musical that is impossible to resist.
