
Overview
Synopsis
After the emperor Troncone dies in battle he leaves his son Teuzzone as inheritor to the throne. Meanwhile, numerous others also desire to ascend to the thrown including Troncone's young widow Zidiana, General Sivenio, and the prime minister, Cino. The opera is filled with political intrigue and deceit. In the end, the traitors are arrested and Teuzzone gains his rightful place to the throne.
