Synopsis
A woman demands from her bank what it owes her for Christmas.
Stephanie is a woman on a mission. She has discovered that her bank has been charging her $4 a month for her savings account without her knowledge. She has had enough with the bureaucracy and mysterious small print thrown at her by the bank's employees. After closing her savings account, she demands that the bank pays her back what it owes. Her anger at the bank brings up her frustrations with America and the world as a whole.
This is a ten minute play.

Context
Occupied was written for The CRY HAVOC Company’s “Holiday Play” series, 2011. The play had its world premiere, on the same night, in November of 2012, in Budapest, Hungary and Giessen, Germany, as part of The CRY HAVOC Company fifteen-year celebration where company members’ plays were produced on every continent.
