Synopsis

The stage is bare, except for a large black bag in the center. Inside the bag is Ken, an unseen adult trying to communicate with the outside world. He never emerges from the bag, aside from sticking an antennae out to gauge potential life signals and offering a hopeful wave. Alone in the bag, Ken experiences an existential crisis, questioning the meaning of his life and presence on earth. He tries to communicate with anyone or thing outside of the bag, but gets nothing back. Is it, he wonders, better to live with "majestic questions" or "uncertain answers"?

Editor's Note: This is a ten minute play.
