Overview
Synopsis
Kali and Todd are planning a holiday to Stockholm together, but tonight they are preparing to have their ‘dream dinner’ for Todd’s birthday. It is to be an evening full of champagne, memories...and verbal and physical abuse. The couple strive to emphasize how perfect their relationship is to the outside world--perfect house, perfect holiday, perfect dinner--but, behind closed doors, all is not as it seems. Their passionate devotion to each other quickly turns into jealousy, anger, and spite. Kali pushes Todd to ignore his family and the couple have turned inwards, trapped in a cycle of abuse and reconciliation. Stockholm gives us an emotional and intense insight into the fraught world of Kali and Todd--a couple who need to, but cannot quite, let each other go.
