Overview
Synopsis
Fumed Oak is a short play in two scenes by Noël Coward, one of ten that make up Tonight at 8:30, a cycle written to be performed across three evenings. This play is a 2-scene comedy. A middle-aged salesman walks out his family, which consists of his wife, daughter and mother-in-law. First, however, he tells them off. At the end of the play, when he walks out he is extremely happy and states, "Good-bye one and all! Nice to have known you."
