Overview

Synopsis

Heinrich Mann, a clockmaker, is asked by Monsieur Pierre just who he is in terms of his place in the world. Even after an exercise in searching for his identity utilizing pencils and chairs, Mann is not entirely sure. However, when he meets the forgetful Frieda, he begins to answer that question.
