Synopsis

Siblings Zelda and Jerry have come together to mourn the passing of their brother, the wealthy Sam Price. But grief quickly turns to acrimony when they discover that Sam left his entire estate to the Catholic Church, robbing them of an eagerly anticipated inheritance. Determined to get what they feel is rightfully theirs, they reluctantly enlist the help of mobster Tony Cappallini in a scheme involving shameless deception and a hapless notary. This fairly obscure dark comedy reads a lot like a sitcom, with family conflict, absurd characters, and plenty of zingers. With six characters and a unit set, it’s a good option for low-budget productions and community theatre groups.
