Synopsis
Diane, a permaculture gardener who oozes butch charm, finds her way to a suburban New Jersey cul-de-sac with one mission – to restore the Earth to its natural state. In reality, Diane is the Greek god Dionysus, looking to recruit four women to become the Bacchae and lead the Earth into a rebirth. Who could be better acolytes than four New Jersey housewives? Hurricane Diane is an Obie Award-winning comedy focuses on the blind eye we turn to climate change and the revelrous catharsis that awaits us in our own backyard.
