Overview
Synopsis
Sports agent Liz Rico’s at the top of her game: she’s got a roster of impressive clients, a possible promotion in the works, and the kind of money she could have only dreamed of as a kid growing up in the Bronx. But this is a man’s game, and Liz Rico is a woman. To stay on top, Liz needs to be twice as cutthroat, twice as dismissive, and twice as determined as everyone else. When she takes on basketball wunderkind Freddie Luna, a teenage troublemaker from the Brooklyn projects, Liz feels certain she can make him a star, and, in turn, make herself one, too. But as things begin to spiral out of control, Liz is forced to confront a question she has long avoided: What is the human cost of success?
