Alex Funk is an actor and teacher in the Northeast Ohio area. He holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from The University of Akron and is currently an M.F.A. in Acting student at Kent State University. He has worked for Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and Rubber City Theatre and has studied with James Slowiak of New World Performance Lab. Memorable acting credits include The Great God Brown (Billy Brown), The Bacchae 2012 (Dionysus), As You Like It (Rosalind), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Demetrius, Oberon/Theseus), Much Ado About Nothing (Benedick), Macbeth (Hecate/Malcolm), Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure (Sherlock Holmes), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Berowne) and The Importance of Being Earnest (Lady Bracknell).
