ABOUT Bel

Hello My name is Bel da Silva and I have been involved in community and professional musical theatre around the St. Louis Area for the last 6 years. Favorite roles include Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella", "Gertrude" in Seussical and Tuptim in The King and I for which I was nominated for "Best Featured Actress" by Arts For Life, an organization based in St. Louis that recognizes excellence in community musical theater in the region. I am trained in Ballet Tap and Jazz and am a classically trained soprano having received "superior" ratings at the Missouri state level for the performance of classical repertoire but I have vocal experience in many genres such as opera, musical theater, and jazz and will be attending SIUE in the fall as a vocal performance major
