Graduated from HKUST with a BBA in Global Business with 1st class honours in 2011. He has recently finished his BFA in Drama (Acting) at the HKAPA with 1st class honours, and will soon receive world-class MT training in the MA in Musical Theatre programme at the Royal Academy of Music. Edwin studied singing under the tutelage of Dr. Oliver Lo and Madam Ella Kiang. He holds the Estill Figure Proficiency qualification from Estill Voice International.
While training at HKAPA, he took on the lead role in the musical Pippin and performed in a musical reading of Titanic on an exchange to the WAAPA in Perth, Australia. He was awarded the Outstanding Actor Award for two times for his performances in Who’s Afraid of Lord of the Flies (Piggy) and Offending the Audience respectively.
