Mike Johnson
Calgary, Alberta
I started acting late in life, at 45. I love entertaining, and equally enjoy making people laugh and making people cry. I have appeared in more than 25 shows and have directed 3 times including Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize winning Play, Death of a Salesman. I love both plays and musicals and I have played parts in everything from Captain Von Trapp in the Sound of Music, The Modern Major General in Pirates of Penzance to Felix Unger in The Odd Couple.
I expect to perform at my highest capability and work extremely hard to get off book quickly so that I can focus on characterization. My biggest strength is my ability to "Make it real" no matter what type of character that I am playing.
