Off Square Theatre, established in 1998, is a theatre company dedicated to excellence in theatre through: performances by theatre professionals and community members; artistic exchanges for local and nationally known theatre artists; and educational programming for all ages. From 1998 to 2006 OSTC performed at the Pink Garter Mainstage Theatre with seating for 340. Upon completion of the Jackson Hole Center for the Arts in October 2006, OSTC moved its headquarters there, assuming the role as Resident Theater Company, and began producing in the newly-completed 530-seat, state-of-the-art Center Theater and the intimate 100-seat Black Box Theater. Since relocating, OSTC has grown to produce an annual season of 4-5 fully-staged productions per year, including the annual Youth Musical on the Center Stage, a staged reading series, and collaborative endeavors with other community organizations.
