About Cottage Theatre
Cottage Theatre is a non-profit community theatre in Cottage Grove, Oregon. We produce a year-round season of plays and musicals and serve an annual audience of more than 10,000 people. From our humble beginnings under a parachute in 1982, we now perform in our own 150-seat facility that was built with community support in 1998 and expanded in 2006.
As a community theatre, we pride ourselves on being an organization fueled by volunteers. All of our artistic personnel, from actors to directors to set painters to lighting designers to ushers, are volunteers. Several hundred volunteers contribute an estimated 50,000 hours of service every year.
