Cornerstone Theatrical Productions

Brightstone originated as Cornerstone Productions in 2006. Justin and Sharon Carter both love theatre and saw a need in the Oconee community where families could enjoy performing theatre together.

They began producing faith-based Christmas shows since there were none of these in the area: only one show a year for five years. However within a couple of years of the Christmas productions, people began asking for more productions.

The first Mainstage production Cornerstone produced was Hello, Dolly! in 2013, and the first Secondstage production the same year was Seussical, Jr. In 2016, Cornerstone Productions changed our name to Brightstone in order to maintain a unique identity in the area.
