About Triarts Sharon Playhouse
TriArts, a not-for-profit theatre company established in 1990 in Pine Plains, NY, moved to the historic Sharon Playhouse in Sharon, CT in 2000. The Playhouse complex was purchased by TriArts shortly thereafter and it is now TriArts' permanent home. TriArts was founded with the mission of creating professional musical theatre using a unique blend of professional and local talent.
Michael Berkeley first served as Resident Musical Director, and became TriArts' Artistic Director in 1999. He has directed and/or musical directed more than 40 productions at TriArts over the past 20 years. As Artistic Director for the past 12 years, Michael has proudly overseen the growth and development of a vibrant and successful theatre company.
