Since 1987, South Carolina Children’s Theatre has impacted the lives of children and families in our community through theatre, educational classes and workshops, and accessible outreach initiatives. Each year, South Carolina Children’s Theatre produces and performs five high quality, live theatre performances featuring children and adults at the Peace Center’s Gunter Theatre. We also produce 4 additional shows and other special events at our 2nd Stage at The Kroc Center or at our temporary headquarters at 1200 Pendleton Street in the West Village. Throughout the year, we offer professional year-round education in the dramatic arts for children ages 3 to 18, and we provide educational outreach to low-income, special needs and hospitalized children.
