About Brightstone Productions
Brightstone originated as Cornerstone Productions in 2006. Justin and Sharon Carter both love theatre and saw a need in the Oconee community where families could enjoy performing theatre together.
Justin and Sharon met while performing theatre in Virgina. After moving to Watkinsville, they were in a couple of shows together, but since they had a child it was tough to do shows together and travel all the way to Athens for every rehearsal and performance.
They began producing faith-based Christmas shows since there were none of these in the area: only one show a year for five years. However within a couple of years of the Christmas productions, people began asking for more productions.
