About Academy of Childrens' Theater
The Academy of Children’s Theatre is an amazing company that provides quality art experiences to the youth of Shreveport- Bossier City Louisiana. ACT focuses on musical theatre in which the cast and crew is educated on performance techniques, technical theatre skills, team building, creativity, responsibility, and much more! Our philosophy is to find a way to let each child shine, and encourage those with the capability to go on to the collegiate level. ACT currently has over 80 students enrolled in classes. You may be familiar with some of its productions in recent years including, Les Miserables, Shrek, 13 The Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, and Tom Sawyer, just to name a few.
