About Transport Theatre Company

Transport Theatre, founded in 2006 by Artistic Director, Linda Livingston, and Producer John Procter, brought Margaret Edson's WIT to audiences in Ventura and Los Angeles, to rave reviews, and an Ovation Nomination for its lead, Linda Livingston. It also produced the wildly popular Judy's Scary Little Christmas in Ventura, followed by Brian Friel's Molly Sweeney. A homeless theatre, shows were staged variously at Ventura College's Circus Theatre, The Victory in Burbank, the then-home of 451 Media on Ventura Avenue, and at The Clocktower Inn, also in Ventura.

Then Transport found a temporary home in Ojai, producing Pinter Play--two one acts by Harold Pinter, The Lover and The Dumb Waiter, followed by John VanBrugh's The Provoked Wife. Transport is "on the road again" searching for a new venue--hopefully back in Ventura, where we started. Stay tuned!
