Valhalla Street Theatre is a not-for-profit community drama group. We have been producing plays, street theatre and murder mystery events since 2003. We tell stories of times gone by, bringing the past to life through interpretation of the local history of the Ards and North Down area, highlighting local people and looking at the extraordinary lives they led.
We research, write and perform all our productions, with the help of our resident Drama Coach, Chris Curry from Belvoir Players. Between developing our stage craft, managing our extensive range of costumes, researching local history, writing sketches, plays and murders, there is always something to get involved with. Past productions include plays based on De Courcey's arrival in Ulster, the Ulster Scots plantations, Immigration to America, Titanic, World War I, Halloween Tours, and countless murder mystery nights including fundraiser events.
