Throughout its 24 years of national and international artistic accomplishments, Dramarama is committed to bringing the best of World Theater with original work creations and subject matters of great social and cultural significance. We believe passionately that our audience deserves the opportunity to engage the imagination and conscience through enlightenment in the creation of living experiences that explore our human condition and promotes quality entertainment.
Dramarama is proven to be a solid organization of the highest quality sustained throughout the years, with 65+ first rate productions that demonstrate our administrative and operational capacity to the highest artistic and cultural standards. We have been awarded on many occasions, including several “Best Play/Musical of the Year” awards, with rave reviews from press and media. Also, the creation of important events such as the WORLD PREMIERE of the stage adaptation from the best selling book “ELEVEN MINUTOS” (“Once Minutos”) by world renowned author Paulo Coelho. Its Artistic Director, Carlos Acevedo, has been awarded the “Best Playwright Award” on three occasions (2002, 07, 15).
